Dorade with herbs from the oven

2 fresh ready-to-cook dorades
2 cloves garlic

various herbs (which please), e.g. thyme, parsley, rosemary

olive oil
 
Spices
wild cubeb pepper (Litsea Cubeba)
fennel seeds
pepper
salt

 

 Zubereitung Directions

 

 

 

Step1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (upper/lower heat) and wash the dorades well under cold water and dry slightly.

Step 2
Crush the wild cubeb pepper with the fennel seeds, as well as salt and pepper in a mortar and season the dorades from inside and outside. Then fill the dorades with the herbs and crushed garlic and add a little olive oil inside and out to the fish.

Step 3
Place the dorades on a sheet with baking paper and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes (depending on the size of the fish) until the eyes are white.

As a side use potatoes, a green salad or you can add a little oven vegetables directly to the sheet, such as tomatoes, fennel and spring onions.
