The consumption of spicy chillies can also be trained by gradually approaching hotter types. The Roshni is a chili for advanced users as it is already noticeably spicy – similar to cayenne pepper. Chilis owe their spiciness to capsaicin, which is mainly found in the seeds and partitions. The spiciness varies from mild to ultra-hot and is measured in Scoville – Scoville reflects the ratio between the liquid used to determine and dilute, with the Roshni chili taking 38,000 ml of water to stop measuring spiciness at 1ml of the chilli.
